Property Description

The National WW II Museum celebrates the American spirit, the teamwork, optimism, courage and sacrifice of the men and women who won World War II.  It promotes the exploration and expression of these values by future generations.  Visit  the Solomon Victory Theater, featuring "Beyond All Boundaries," executive-produced by Tom Hanks, the Stage Door Canteen featuring entertainment from the WWII-era, the American Sector, a Chef John Besh Restaurant and our newest John Besh offering, the Soda Shop!

Directions

From the West: Take I-10 to Hwy 90 then exit at "St. Charles Avenue". At the second light after the exit ramp, turn left onto St. Charles Avenue - that will take you back underneath the interstate/bridge. One block later, you will come to Lee Circle - all traffic on Lee Circle goes to the right, so you will turn right to enter the circle. At the first right, which is Higgins Drive, you will turn right. The main entrance is on Higgins Drive between Camp Street and Magazine Street.
